HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT :

The Department of Accounting and Finance was affiliated and approved by the University of Madras in the academic year 2013-2014. It has a larger approved strength and each year it produces efficient and able professional graduates. The department has additional sections that specializes students in Mathematics and in Economics simultaneously from the academic year 2015-2016.The aim of the department is to uphold the merit of the institution by providing high academic excellence through it’s under graduate and post graduate programmes and also to maintain the discipline and decorum of the budding students. The department tries to impart quality teaching and learning and also offers various activities orienting the students towards research and academic

competency.
