The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2001 and currently

has four sections. BCA is a 3-year undergraduate degree programme that focusses on the study of the basics of computer application and software development. BCA Department of Agurchand Manmull Jain College nurtures students with a sound academic foundation for an easy employment. There are four sections in each year. The Second section was added in the academic year 2005-2006 and the Fourth section was added in the academic year 2017-2018. The Department of Computer Applications has 585 students and 20 Staff members. The department has fine mix of young, qualified, experienced faculty members, with 5 PhD

holders. The faculty members keep in touch with the ever growing technology and put in all their effort to fine tune and train students for their successful placement in reputed organizations.

The department’s infrastructure is well furnished with all the best-in-class facilities. Our computer

center has 6 well equipped Laboratories with all the latest hardware and software, we also have a Microprocessor and a Digital Lab. The department enjoys good relations with some of the top IT Companies and Software giants namely CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, HP, DELL, HCL etc. Our college has a dedicated placement cell that caters to the needs of the students by getting them every opportunity to get into these top ranked companies. In the last few years, 200 of our students were able to get into well-paying jobs through the campus placement arranged by our college and placement cell.
