The Department of B.Sc Home science –Interior Design and Decor was started in the academic year 2015. The main objective of this department is to meet the demand of providing talented and professional interior designers who can collaborate and create more aesthetically a pleasing environment for the end user. Interior Design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management and execution of the design.

The Department of B.Sc. Home science – Interior and Decor is facilitated with well equipped labs such as the Interior Decoration Lab, Drawing Studio lab, Printing and Dyeing Lab, Textile lab. These facilities will ensure the college to impart sound practical knowledge and candid understanding of the various concepts. Started with a strength of 14 talented students, the IDD department is growing strong to a total strength of 80 students in the current academic year. Students are trained in AutoCAD keeping in mind the versatility of computer based drafting.
